Whatever your burden of care or anxiety, whatever your sorrow or worry, whatever your problem or pain, I believe there is hope.  Having a companion for the road during a difficult time can help lighten the burden.  My approach is relational and as a beginning to your healing I will be seeking to deeply hear and understand you.  Over time, as the relationship develops, you will likely discover deeper insights into yourself.  Along the way, emotions will provide valuable keys to understanding your needs.  Understanding the needs driving your emotions gives you more options for getting those needs met.  Find more resources at my website www.peacefulbeing.org.

I draw on psychodynamic and attachment theories to help clients gain insight and perspective into how their past experiences may be influencing them today.  I hope to build therapeutic relationships where clients feel safe, understood, and valued. I am also a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator for pre-marital and marital counseling.

I have over 15 years of experience in human services in varied settings.  I love what I do and consider it a great privilege to provide counseling services.  I offer an income based sliding fee scale to make counseling more affordable to everyone.

Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.
